Brothers Yi and Er live in an elite martial arts school where their father, Li Hui, is a teacher. Together with their five best friends they form a gang, the Jinwunmen, swearing allegiance to each other and to be the best in the trade. 10 years later in their graduation year with the provincial team selection looming, their lives take an unexpected turn when they cross roads with Ke Le and foil a kidnapping attempt. Faced with a real enemy out to kill them, they have to turn to their athletic abilities into real combat.
From executive producers Jackie Chan and John Sham comes Wushu – The Young Generation, a martial arts drama starring Sammo Hung and a mess of new talent. Wushu was shot at an actual martial arts school in China using real martial arts students as its stars, meaning these actors can provide more than your staged wire-fu shenanigans. Despite lacking any depth of emotion, the young actors do provide the film’s martial arts with authentic skill and showmanship.

Saw the movie.
It was a decent movie. Plot wise it was weak, but the wushu scenes were very good. It had a lot of potential in the beginning, but slowly died down.
I’d still recommend any wushu practitioners to watch

i think there are …
i think there are no wimpy styles, just maybe wimpy performers… both belongs to wushu, wushu taolu ( it more for performance) and wushu sanda its simular to kickboxing, but you can throw your opponents… and by the way, there are lots of traditional wushu styles where you learn to protect your self, so you can defend your self even in fights for life and death

Exactly. And …
Exactly. And capoeira is a martial art. It just depends how you use it and what techniques you employ. Historically, it was used as a form of combat.

About these Wushu …
About these Wushu students saving these kids who were kidnapped by Sanda (another form of chinese martial arts) masters i think?
It’s like comparing the two martial arts or something.
And Wushu isn’t suppose to be used for fighting therefore cannot be wimpy you idiot.
It’s for show just like the “martial art” capoeira is for show.
