EXCELLENT!!!! 5 stars. Mr. Kelly is doing excellent work. I injured my neck early on (way back in 1995) because nobody taught me the importance of bridging correctly. Please keep up the great work.

Ive had neck …
Ive had neck problems from BJJ for the last 6 mo and recently started doing these bridges (beginner to intermediate moves) and my neck pain started going away after the third day! And Ive tried everything before hand. It never dawned on me to stregthen my neck til I saw a boxer doing it in a training session. So I did some research. Try it out it works!…sounds like an infomercial for protect yo neck lol

try starting with …
try starting with your hands together fingers interlinked behind your head palms to your head. force your head back and resist with yur hands. do this for 10 seconds, release, stretch repeat for all sides. one hand is enough for either side but place both palms above your eyes on your forehead for the front so as not to twist your neck

it’s more than …
it’s more than likely that the doctors say that because a)it’s very easy to slip when doing it. b)people try to put too much pressure on their neck to start out.
i would suggest you not work out one part of your neck more than the opposite side (ie. left more than right or front more than back.)
personally i’ve never heard of it affecting someone latter in life, but thats just me.

i was the captain …
i was the captain of my highschool wrestling team for 2 years and if you can do whats depicted in the vodeo even for half the length shown you will have quite a noticably stronger neck. don’t do the side ones untill you are ABSOLUTELY sure you are strong enough, start with your hands bracing in ANY direction and then VERY SLOWLY over weeks put less pressure in ur hands and you will have a stronger neck, sorry jim i dont mean to start coaching on your board but i saw someone get injured this way

Jim, those basic …
Jim, those basic bridges look good, but when you started going forward butt in the air, the angles which your neck were looked akward especially the side to side… Question? I know you enphasize a strong neck but would just the basic bridges be enough?
