Then sorry about …
Then sorry about your luck but you aren’t gonna learn Jiu-Jitsu.
But BJJ is spreading and is reaching many countries now so hopefully you’ll get a good guy there soon. Also you could always travel and train and be the first to bring BJJ to El Salvador.
Don’t try to learn on your own or through videos that’s a very bad idea. Just be patient and if you want to learn BJJ enough find away to make it happen

We can see that …
We can see that Brazilian Jujitsu is great against one individual opponent in a cage, but unfortunately we do not have that option just to defense ourselves against one attacker at all times. Show us how Brazilian Jujitsu stand against 2 or 3 fighters from other MMA.

JJJ and Judo are …
JJJ and Judo are similar. JJJ was first, then came Judo, then BJJ. JJJ uses mostly small joint manipulation from a standing position. Judo also begins from a standing position, placing great emphasis on throws, or using leverage and body positioning to put your opponent on the ground. It takes very little strength to throw a larger opponent using judo techniques. Judo also has ground techniques and submissions for after the throw. Basically, judo has more throws.

Japanese Jiujitsu …
Japanese Jiujitsu uses just as mutch leverage. They just do more wrist manipulation and the majority of the techniques are from a standing position. They also use SOME strikes to vulnerable areas and throws. BJJ is more concerned with ground techniques that ALSO use leverage. BJJ is superior in MMA.

I am a Greek living …
I am a Greek living in the USA practicing under the Gracie name of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.. I compete under “Brazilian Jiu Jitsu” The difference is “Jiu Jitsu originated in japan and that it relied on momentum and strength.. THanks to Helio Gracie, BJJ is more focused on leverage and agility. Faster thinking and skillful movement make the better opponent

Yes, that’s true of …
Yes, that’s true of most good JJ schools…
Some people ‘get it’ quicker than others.
It may take you five years to get to your second belt or get your blue in six… the school I study Jujitsu at is REALLY up on earning belts as opposed to getting them given out with the morning cornflakes.
Which is why I am staying with the class I’m at now and left my previous TKD class as it was just a belt factory…
