Dude thats awesome. I waited for my oldest son to turn 10 before I had him doing MMA and will have my youngest doing MMA in tweo years. They have both been active in Judo and TKD for 2 years now. If I had a daughter I would do like you and have her training early. Nobody will try the wrong move on her now

she is one very …
she is one very trained girl, but im 13 years old and ive done MMA for a year now and while your daughter is on the foucus pads she should not be using MMA gloves, she should use boxing gloves as her hands are still growing and the MMA gloves damage your hands somehow, well thats what my instructor told me, and maybe you could train her with her round kicks as she is kciking with the side of her foot. sorry to be negative lol but she is a very trained girl, she will grow to be a athlete.

Well you know what …
Well you know what they say about opinions.. Too bad yours isn’t informed by objective observation skills or a logical thought process.
What I saw in the video was a girl with a healthy relationship with her Dad & Brothers who has the courage to test her self in a tough and mostly male dominated sport. Since you are a telepath though you figured out that she really doesn’t like it.
I posted a video response to show that Girls are more than capable of competing in amateur mma. cheers..

Being the only girl …
Being the only girl makes it wierd for her. The striking side of things is just me teaching her in the garage. We all tried to go to boxing for a couple of months. It was to boring for the kids. Hopefully she sticks with wrestling but I have no intentions of making her do something she does not enjoy.. If she hates it we will go back to jui jitsu..

Started with …
Started with Teakwondo she took to it. Her brother has been doing this stuff with me for awhile and I’ve thought about bringing her into the mix. After she was in Teakwondo for about three months I took her to a Jui jitsu class with her brother. She was used to whering the uniform and had no problems joining the class. She did it for about 6 months and now we are testing her out in wrestling.. I don’t know if wrestling is going to last she is the only girl in her class..

THAT…
was the CUTEST most AWESOME thing I’ve ever seen. So how did you go about getting her into it? Did you suggest it? Or did she approach you? I’m teaching my wife Muay Thai and BJJ atm, but I JUST had a daughter 3 weeks ago yesterday and I cant wait to see how this goes.
