Did training in martial arts helped you gain self control?

Do you feel that you lose your temper less after some martial arts training? Do you have more self confidence ?

For sure it makes you know yourself better. You will realize that you never give enough and keep giving more.

    if you have a temper no amount of training will curb it no matter what people tell you.

    Martial Arts training is a very personal thing and when you start to train you will understand. It wont make you confident but what it will do is make you realise that you do not need to fight and to bow to peer pressure.

    You can curb you anger, even if you have a temper. All you have to do is realize what you're mad about….most of the time it's something stupid

    I had a lot of anger when I started doing some karate and a little judo. It helps a lot, but never fully gets rid of the anger within. But its a great way to cope with it.
