Not everyone can do the splits, it will depend on your physical build. Asians have different shaped hips than white and black people.How do I know this, I had double hip surgury in 2007 and my doctor is writing a book on hips.I have done martial arts for 25 years and delt with pain the whole time till I finally could not deal with it any more.Unfortunately surgury did not cure everything.One key thing about stretching is muscle temp.
